Mssingno makes trappy, electronic music that is faultlessly emotional. This is no different – you can really get lost in the thick synths and cavernous xylophone/glockenspiel hits.
The song is found on the Mssingno EP, released in 2013. It’s a four track EP, and every one is a banger. But this is my favourite.
Although R Kelly is now widely recognised as an evil, evil man, it’s got to be said he made some smooth tunes. This track samples vocals from “I’m A Flirt”, which may not have aged well since the revelations about R Kelly’s crimes, but is nevertheless a wicked sample.
The pressure builds throughout the song, before releasing and adding a solid beat.
