Augustus Pablo is usually associated with the melodica, but he was also a gifted dub producer.
I’m not too sure what the bell sound on this track it – it’s almost like the noise made by rubbing a glass. Whatever it is, it works!
There’s a wonderfully dreamlike quality to the song, enhanced by the dub effects.
