I’m not sure anybody has ever done a better job of representing the feeling of being an eagle through music. I wouldn’t know, as I’m not an eagle.

The soaring synths, the unchained bassline, the spacious and majestic drum breaks – just imagine gliding above the pacific coastline on thermals, searching for rabbits or whatever eagles do with their spare time.
The pacing of the song is critical to this effect. Over the last quarter of the song, the atmosphere really clicks into place.
